Hi,
I had Cody take Nellers to the vet yesterday for his second
shot, since I was at work. He called me immediately upon returning
home to tell me about it. He said it was like the Beatles in
1963. He said that EVERYONE went absolutely CRAZY over him! He
said that people were literally embarrassing themselves. They
picked him up, examined every inch of his body and said he was
the cutest kitten they have EVER seen! (They even said his "nuts" were cute!) Cody was so embarrassed for them. He said that everyone who worked there was in and out of the room, sending in everybody to look at him. They said that out of 11,000 pet clients that they have, that Nellers is by far their favorite and that they want lots of pictures of him so they can make a special collage in the waiting room of just Nellers! Out of the 11k pets they see, they said that they only have about 3 Folds! They all wanted to know where we got him, etc... The vet gave him the shot and he purred all the way through it - which made everyone crazier over him. I'm glad Cody got to experience that - he's never owned a pet that people go nuts over. He said he wished I was there. He said that nobody paid any attention to him - that as soon as they saw Nellers, they just took him, walked away and passed him around to everyone. They told him to keep an eye on Nellers, because someone would take him! He said that he was there for about 30 minutes longer than he needed to be, just because everyone was going crazy over Nellers - he finally said "Is it ok if we go now?"
