Hi Lori, Our night was great! We went to bed about 10:30, she started in bed with us and then we put her in the nook area with her cat tree and toys, etc. She slept until 7:30 am when I went and got her and brought her in with us. (I checked on her throughout the night) She played all morning and then slept on my husbands lap, while he read the paper for two hours. She had been a wonderful kitty. She sure wants us to hold her and be in our laps continually. Willie thinks she is the best, she still is not so sure. (However, she is not putting her fur up when she sees him anymore!) We went and bought her some more toys this morning. My husband said tonight that he sure loves her and we really lucked out to get such a great kitty. We have been calling her “Hopey” (not sure how to spell it yet) and she runs to us when we call her. Other than that I know I could come down with an illness to stay home a few days next week I am sure. :o) My husband is retired so he will be with her a lot. I think she will be great company for him. So she plays then sleeps. Sleeps then plays, and eats. I think she is adjusting well to a new home. Today, she is eating a lot of dry food! She is such a good kitty. She is a perfect match for us, because she loves to be loved. I held her in my arms last night until she went to sleep. She again slept the night through and was in her cat tree this morning. We really have had no problems what so ever! She seems very happy. So everything is going well! Laurie (1 1/2 week update): Hi Lori, You know she is the best kitty ever.
Her and Willie (dog) now sleep touching each other now. Of course
they are both in my arms and just as happy as little clams! I stayed
home today and had a great day resting and enjoying their company.
“Hope” is such a good kitty, she uses her potty box
like a champ and stretches her claws on the cat tree. She sleeps
all night in her cat tree and eats like a there is no tomorrow!
